German State Banks

Sinn’s criticism of the, in his opinion, excessively risky policy pursued by Germany’s Landesbanken is described in Der Staat im Bankwesen. An English version of the book was published in 1999 by Edward Elgar under the title The German State Banks. Global Players in the International Financial Markets. In this book he anticipated the disastrous future development of this category of banks.
